  • Stage 1 (1hr30mins)

You will be invited to answer questions about your hopes, your ambitions, your skills, your problem areas and your academic results. At the end of this interview, the initial lines of thought to pursue will have become clear. 

 

  • Stage 2 (30-40mins) at home

You respond online to the STRONG Interests Inventory® questionnaire.

 

  • Stage 3 (1hr30mins)

A review of the results of the STRONG Interests Inventory® questionnaire (a 10-page report) with a certified consultant: identifying your interests and earmarking business sectors for consideration.

  • Stage 4 (1hr30mins)

An overview of the programs worth exploring following the results of the STRONG interests Inventory® and the countries you should consider for them.

By the end of these sessions you will have identified the subjects that interest you for higher studies, and you will have all the information you need to carry out in-depth research on the courses available in the various countries.

Upon completion, we will provide a written summary of these four sessions.

 

Choosing your Destination

  • Stage  1 (1hr30mins)

You will be invited to answer questions to help clarify your plans. Your consultant will check that your plans are compatible with constraints imposed in terms of academic requirements, subjects studied, motivation, duration of studies, admission requirements (competitive exams, prerequisite tests, admissions criteria etc.) in the various educational systems you are considering. At the end of this interview, you will have a clearer vision of the countries in which you could study.

 

  • Stage 2 (1hr30mins)

You have selected the countries you are interested in. Your Ethos consultant will explain, country by country, how the university system is organised (how courses operate, how assessments are carried out etc.), the cultural and economics factors, and also the admission procedures. At the end of this interview you will have all the elements you need to make an informed decision on the countries where you wish to apply. 

 

  • Stage 3 (1hr30mins)

You have chosen the countries where you wish to submit applications.  Your Ethos consultant will give you all the information you need to choose your programme of study in each selected country. He or she will set a time-frame with you to organise your actions so as not to miss the key dates for finalising your applications. An action plan is established to remedy any weak points in your application.

By the end of these sessions you will have chosen the countries to which you wish to submit applications. You will know how to research the programmes of study of interest to you  in each country.

Upon completion, we will provide a detailed written summary of these three sessions.

Destination France

I know what I want to study, and I would like to study in France. We will help you identify the different pathways for your plans. 

 

  • Stage 1 

You will be invited to answer questions to help clarify your plans. Our consultant will check that your plans are compatible with constraints imposed in terms of academic requirements, subjects studied, motivation, duration of studies, admission requirements (competitive exams, prerequisite tests, admissions criteria etc.). He or she will then explain to you the different pathways open to you.  At the end of this stage, you will have a clear picture of the different institutions in which you can study (universities, IUT, BTS, CPGE, Schools with competitive entrance examination or with admission by application).  

  •  Stage 2

You have chosen the pathways that you are interested in. For each of them, the Ethos consultant  will explain how the courses are run, the admission procedures, and give you all the information you need to choose your institutions, taking into account the cultural and economic factors. At the end of this stage you will have all the elements you need to make an informed decision on your post-Baccalaureate aspirations.

 

  • Stage 3 

Your Ethos consultant and you will set a time-frame to organise your actions so as not to miss the key dates for finalising your applications. An action plan is established to remedy any  weak points in your application.

 

At the end of these stages, you will have all the elements you need to apply to your selected institutions. The Ethos consultant will follow your applications progress until you get the final answers from the universities.

United Kingdom

I know what subject I want to study and I would like to study in the United Kingdom, but I don't know winch university. We will help you to choose the universities best suited to your profile and to prepare your application. 

  • Stage 1

The Ethos consultant will explains how the courses operate and the UCAS admissions system (predicted grades, personal statement etc.).

 

  •  Stage 2

You will be invited to answer questions to help clarify your plans. Your Ethos consultant will check that your plans are compatible with constraints imposed in terms of academic requirements, prerequisites, motivation and personal expectations.

At the end of this interview, we will give you a list of courses that match your plans.

 

 If your profile makes you eligible to apply for Oxbridge (Oxford and Cambridge), we will refer you to a specialist consultant for additional sessions (see our à la carte fees). 

 

  • Stage 3 

You have a clear idea of ​​the course that you are interested in and its variants (year abroad, combined subjects etc.). Your Ethos adviser will invite you to reflect, using relevant questions, in order to establish a realistic, prioritised list of universities that best match your academic, cultural and environmental profile

By the end of these sessions you will have drawn up a list of the five universities to which you wish to apply. 

 

  • Stage 4 

Your Ethos consultant will set a time-frame with you to organise your actions so as not to miss the key dates for finalising your applications. An action plan is established to remedy any weak points in your application.

At the end of these stages, you will have all the elements you need to apply to your selected institutions. The Ethos consultant will follow your applications progress until you get the final answers from the universities.

I know what subject I want to study and I would like to study in Canada, but I don't know which university. We will help you to choose the universities best suited to your profile and to prepare your application.

  • Stage 1 

You will be invited to answer questions to help clarify your plans. Your Ethos consultant will check that your plans are compatible with constraints imposed in terms of motivation, academic requirements, and cultural and economic factors. He or she will explain the Canadian university system (how courses operate, the credits system, the choice of academic majors, minors, specialisations and the GPA: Grade Point Average) and also the administrative procedures in each state. At the end of this stage you will understand the Canadian system and we will suggest a list of universities and courses tailored to your interests.

  •  Stage 2  

You have an idea of ​​which universities you wish to apply to. Your Ethos consultant will set a time-frame with you to organise your actions so as not to miss the key dates for finalising your applications. An action plan is established to remedy any weak points in your application.

At the end of these stages, you will have all the elements you need to apply to your selected institutions. The Ethos consultant will follow your applications progress until you get the final answers from the universities. 

 

Destination USA

I think I would like to study in the United States but I don't know where to start and I have no knowledge of this education system. 

 

  • Stage 1 (2hrs)

You will be invited to answer questions to help clarify your plans. Your Ethos consultant will check that your plans are compatible with constraints imposed in terms of motivation, academic requirements, cultural and economic factors. He or she will explain the American university system (how courses operate, the credits system, the choice of academic majors, minors, specialisations and the GPA: Grade Point Average). 

At the end of this interview, you will understand the American system.   

 

  • Stage 2 (2hrs

Your Ethos consultant, will help you identify the universities that are most suitable for you from a list of core criteria for consideration to achieve success in this system. The consultant and  you will set a time-frame for putting your plans into action.  

At the end of these two sessions, you will be able to make a decision on whether you really want to commit yourself to a plan that must be looked at in the long term.

In order to keep all your options open, it is important to make a start as soon as possible. 

 

Following these sessions, if you decide to apply in the US, Ethos will refer you to a specialist consultant who will guide you through the entire process.

  • Stage 1

You will be invited to answer questions to help clarify your plans. Your consultant will check that your plans are compatible with constraints imposed in terms of academic requirements, subjects studied, motivation, duration of studies, admission requirements (competitive exams, prerequisite tests, admissions criteria etc.) in the various educational systems you are considering. Ethos helps you understand the university system of the country you are interested in. You will be given all the information you need to choose your courses. 

  • Stage 2

You have chosen the universities where you wish to submit applications. Your Ethos consultant will set a time-frame with you to organise your actions so as not to miss the key dates for finalising your applications. An action plan is established to remedy any weak points in your application.

 

At the end of these stages, you will have all the elements you need to apply to your selected institutions. The Ethos Consultant will follow your applications progress until you get the final answers from the universities.
